Immigration Office in Korea

The Korean Immigration Office is the go-to place for any visa-related issues. Whether you need to apply for a resident card, extend your visa, or switch to a different visa category, the immigration office is where you can get all the necessary information and assistance. In this guide, I will walk you through the process of making a reservation at the immigration office, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Make a Reservation

If you need to make a reservation at the Korea Immigration Office, you can easily schedule one online by visiting their website at https://www.hikorea.go.kr/. Please note that as of today, only online reservations are accepted, and you cannot walk into the immigration office without a reservation. Therefore, planning and scheduling your appointment in advance is important to avoid any inconvenience or delays. The website is user-friendly and provides clear instructions on how to make an appointment, so you should be able to complete the process without any issues. Once you complete the appointment scheduling process, you will receive a confirmation email with your details. Be sure to check your email and keep the confirmation information handy, as it will be required when you arrive at the immigration office for your appointment.

Tip:

  • Make the reservation as soon as you arrive in Korea with a Korean Phone number
  • Before the Appointment Date, you don’t need to show proof of residency
  • Usually earliest Appointment Date is 3 weeks in advance in Seoul
